just now while saving the pictures of Soo lan's uploading... mum just so happened to come by and peek around... and out of nowhere she mentioned abt "Hey, who is that girl in the picture?!"

then things like... "just now, who and who was asking... then desmond got gf already or not... "

oh gosh... again those few same old questions...
and my same old answer "dont have ... just dont have lor... "

Irony in life... as always...
remembered in secondary school... what she say would be "boy ah, now must study, dont anyhow make what gf hor... "

pls pls pls - 31/12/08

today i went to a chinese medical clinic for my injured leg...
Not exactly a super serious one, but definitely one to be concern for me since.. IVP is just next week...

initially i tot the whole procedure would be a simple one... just a normal accupuncture and stuff... well, i did tui na first... and my oh my... when the shifu hit my main nerve (that was giving my the problem)... i could feel the PAIN!

well, not that i could not tahan... it was managable most of the time...
after the session, my legs were a bit weakened by it sia... and kinda wobbled a bit... but i know its normal...

well, tml is new year eve... and having a friendly with NUS...
Hope we have a good showing ... and my leg is better to cope with the running ...

Christmas exchange - 31/12/08

Got this "3 in 1" present from Jasmine on sunday... after our poly attendance to huili's wedding lunch... She wrapped it so big... that all of us were hoping to avoid getting it... haha...

though i was the 'unlucky" one in the end, i tot the gift was great!
got a stool.. plus a towel set... and a cushion... what can i ask for sia...

Fat or Stronger? - 22/12/08

Hmm... recently i found out that my weight have hit the 60 kg mark!
My first reaction was "WHAT! Have i gone fat?" Ironic is that just hours before that, Seth was even commenting to me that i looked have gone thinner!

So have i or have i not gone fatter?
Or is it that my workout in recent months have actually shown results in terms of muscles mass? hmm...

On saturday was the 3rd and last lesson for my BEC Course (Basic Exercise Course)
Seriously, i was not expecting much from it... Previous lessons was not very much interesting by the respective instructors... That impression was so deep on me that i almost feel asleep just 5 mins into the class... However, soon I became more and more alert. The instructor for the day was named David Ho. Well, he started to tell some story and his personal experience on top of the class syllabus...

That caught my attention and that also made the class much more interesting. At the end of the class, I was glad that i did not think of skipping the class. For BEC, somehow, we could actually learn the theorical things from the book by ourselves.
The classes was made probably out of formality. Anyway, was glad that I managed to get David's email. Who knows i might need some advice from him in the future...
and he happens to be a colleague of Jamie too! haha... What a small world yeah...

Couple Not Married - 19/12/08

Just now when i got back home from a day of training and work at gym... I saw this middle aged couple at bus holding hands...

well, at one look, I tot "Wow... they must have love each other a lot.. rarely do husband and wife do this at their age"

Little did i know, moments later, the lady drop off the bus, saying goodbye to the guy... it was then did i realised that yup, they are a couple but not yet married...

Now that's another amazing thing... Being single till their age, and being able to find a bf/gf... though its kinda odd (given that i do not encounter this often..) but yet sweet...

Hmm... come to think abt myself... what will happen in the coming years? will i remain as it is as of now? will i find one soon? or find one in many years to come?
or like what Huili say when i happen to meet her a few days ago and questioned about my relationship status... ... "Hey, you want to wait till 35 years old then can apply for flat for people who are single ah?"

Movie Half Marathon ??? - 17/12/08

First time had a Movie half marathon ytd... Went with Liling to watch 2 shows at one shot... at different places... haha... Saw The Day the Earth stood still first... Suck! the plot was quite draggy, lack of climax and excitement...

But there's was 1 funny scene though... but not from the show, but when Liling closed her eyes, when there was a scene in the show where the surgeon had to operate (he started to cut open using the surgical knife... ) on the "alien" (Keanu)... haha... it was nothing much and she tot something grossed will come out of it...



After that, i sms Weiling to ask her about Cape No 7 show... Highly recommended by her and surrounding reviews... both of us went to Cathay to watch from Marina Square.. haha... and i found out something new as a result... That Cathay allows customers to buy tickets of other locations.. Cathay timing was late at 9plus pm... so we got Ang Mo Kio outlet in the end.... Had to rush a bit... from Dhoby Ghout to AMK... had to sneak it some food to fill up out stomach...

Anyway... Cape No 7 was good indeed! In a way, there was 2 stories in one movie itself... well... You have to watch it yourself to understand my point...
Scenes were funny.. especially this old guy who just like to "show" on stage even if he is getting himself a small role...





This was the old man who tried means and ways in order to perform on stage...
Just like a child who yeans for attention!!! haha...


The whole band was formed after a long process... ....

Another new cap - 16/12/08

A new cap done!
This time it was my customer's brother who wanted me to do it for him. and originally, this customer of mine was my brother's friend. keke...

I so happened to pass the cap to his brother that night, and that night itself he added me on msn and wanted me to do one for him too. His request is different and a bit simpler than his brother... keke...

Chaota... what a nickname to have...
Have a gym staff friend whose nick is Chaota... haha.. and she's proud of it too..
was drawing my designs for this customer during my shift with her...

in the end, i drew an extra "Chaota" out of randomness.. .haha...

Sad news - 12/12/08

A few days ago, i heard 2 sad/bad news in 2 days straight...
reminds and show how fragile how life can be at times...

Shows at times, why we are fighting hard in life... why we have to make good use of our time and work towards something that it is worth.

Change my room outlook - 09/12/08

Finally made the decision to get my hands dirty and resorted out the layout of my "room"...

Those who knows about it know that my room is located in the living room ...
I am living with my grandma along with my family... 3 rooms, 1 is grandma room, 1 for parents, the other i gave it to my bro... while i took a space outside the living room... and shifted my bed, cupboard, study table out there...

after a year, i decided it was time for a bit of change... so i reshuffle the cabinet, cupbards and tables around... took about 3 hours to do it...

New DIY product - 08/12/08

tonight i just completed another new addition to my list of DIY items. well it was done for a customer who is getting it for his friend.

Floorball Camp - 5/12/08

Was away for Floorball camp for the last few days.
I missed most of the 1st day because of my Finishing Touch fine dining which was held in the afternoon. I didnt want to bring my formal clothing to the camp, so i decided to head to the camp only after the dining.

By the time i reached school, it was already 8plus pm... The guys were still on their way back to school from training... Anyway, the 1st night was slow... A group of them decided to open a "gambling den" playing poker while another played bridge... i and others simply stayed in the room roaming here and there... haha..

it was only about 12am that all decided to head for tau huay together. After that, the guys decided to play CS.. Was quite a cool gaming session though i was quite irritated intially by my com not having able to load in... 11 v 11...

Back at campus... everyone lobo for a while... till someone mentioned about this hotel626 website... I didnt know what was it and queried about it... this then... they mentioned that it was scary website where its a one-person player trying to escape this hotel in it... then they challenged me to do it... well.. i was a bit apprehensive at first... but tot why not... since they will be with me... gosh.. in the end, Seth connected his laptop into the big screen in the seminar room... SUCK!

Anyway, luckily Xuan Wei did not play before too and we dragged him to play it with me... In the game, we were supposed to go through several stages, using clues to solve puzzles.. At one stage, it was at a toilet..where the player had to "search" for the ghost lady and took picture of her using the camera on hand.. That was a stage where we did most screaming and frustrating cos we could not take the picture properly.. haha... i remembered screaming out loud when we managed to take the pictures and "killed" the lady... (cos her bloody ugly face came out of the dark... yucks... )

Not long after, most of us went back to sleep...

For 2nd day, we did this 80s no NG game... it was a simple bonding outdoor games session. We ended it with a water bomb war... At one time, i nearly got myself injured unneccessarily... thankfully, i just missed the field tap by a few cm when i was runnning ard the field...

We had another training session at Valhall in the late afternoon.. and stayed on to watch the girls team played against SIM after that... KFC for dinner wasn't that good... guess i didnt had such oily stuff for a long time... my stomach wasn't that well at night.

One incident pissed me a lot when i and a few guys joined the girls for their meal at night... we were at a nearby food centre where i wanted to order fruits instead of eating any thing else.... One of the auntie serving the counter was super damn loud in her voice... which reminds me of how my grandma's speaks during her peak days... i dont know if she didnt mean it that way.. but her voice projection and attitude tells outsiders another side... I was not happy with the way she treated her customers and even to her colleagues... too bossy and irritating... she would definitely be a black horse among the nice servers at that food centre...

Back at campus, all of us gathered together for a bonding session... we were split into 2 groups... guessing and drinking... till around 4 plus...

Next morning... the camp ended with team talk among ourselves... and i lost my sleeping bag cover!!! suck... who took it.. !
