Shack Out Work Day...

Shack Out Work Day...

Today was pretty shacked out... As normal, it was 7am for work. But the previous night, i went with the guys for Aaron's birthday dinner.

Yesterday, after work, went to meet Aaron first since JJ and Tengfu were busy with stuff at school, while Terence was already in Cambodia for his community project. From 6pm, we practically walk the whole suntec/marina area, in search for a place to eat later. Aaron, in his usually self, would give loads of suggestions along the way. This la, that la... but still to no decision. Eventually, we decided to meal at Clarke Quay instead. So off we went to the riverside. There, still we spent quite some time, looking around. After much contemplating, we chose a Indian Cusine restaurant, Ivory.

It was a choice i wasnt that comfortable with initially, in fear that all the food that are too spicy for me. We arrived up to the 2nd level of the restaurant to find that its a pretty classy place to be in. There, was a long table filled with working adults, comprising mainly with Caucasians. Think they were having company dinner.

Being the first time at an Indian restaurant, we were puzzled about what to order. In the mist of it, a waiter approached me with a strong Indian accent. I could barely understand what was it that he was trying to ask. I only did manage to hear words of "cold water" between his words... keke.. then i said " of course, water for all!!"

Aaron, then asked another for recommendations on what to order. After some discussion and advise, we finally ordered some curry, fish along with rice and neaan(like prata). More than what we expected, it was a fantastic meal we had. Except for the fish, all the others had excellent taste. Jin jie had a very positive comments for the meats... Given his requirement for excellent food, this shows it is indeed highly recommended... Too bad Terence was not there to taste it.. He would hav LOVE it....

After that meal, we went to eat ice-cream. We, each ordered different types. For me, i chose to create my own. I mixed with cookies and cream, with lemon and mango, along with almond bits with aloe vera. Pretty interesting mix eh... ...

anyway, we just ate and talk, chat through the session, again touching on life, studies, career. Loads of debates were present, everyone making their point felt.

Time went by fast, as we left the place at 11plus. That's when i only got home ard 12am.. making me shacked today... with the lack of sleep...
